Adjunct - French Instructor

The Linfield University Global Languages and Cultural Studies Department is currently searching for a part-time FRENCH instructor for the Spring 2022 semester (begins on February 7th, 2022) to teach two courses: one (1) first year course and one (1) intermediate course. Courses will be taught in person. There is the possibility of returning in the Fall semester of 2022.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in French or Francophone studies or second language acquisition with emphasis in French.
  • Demonstrate at least 2-year experience teaching French language at the college level.
  • Strong preference for candidates proficient with technology in the classroom, able to adapt to hybrid, online, or face-to-face instruction.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms (Pearson, Vista, Cengage, etc.) and learning management systems (Blackboard, Canvas, Google Classroom, etc.), desired.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION:

In order to create the healthiest face-to-face learning environment possible, Linfield University is requiring that all faculty, staff, and students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
