Adjunct - French

Linfield University is currently searching for a part-time FRENCH adjunct instructor for the Fall 2022 semester (begins August 29, 2022) to teach two courses: one (1) first year course and one (1) intermediate course. Courses will be taught in person. There is the possibility of returning in the Spring semester of 2023.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in French or Francophone studies or second language acquisition with emphasis in French.
  • Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience teaching French language at the college/university level.
  • Strong preference for candidates proficient with technology in the classroom, with ability to adapt to hybrid, online, or face-to-face instruction.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms (Pearson, Vista, Cengage, etc.) and learning management systems (Blackboard, Canvas, Google Classroom, etc.), desired.
