Instructional Associate Human Performance

Linfield College's Department of Health, Human Performance and Athletics is seeking an Instructional Associate to teach Human Performance beginning August 15, 2016.  This is a one-year position renewable contingent upon enrollment and job performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach two sections human physiology, as well as several concomitant labs; other appropriate courses as determined by department chair.
  • Engage within the HHPA department.


  • Master's degree in Human Physiology, Biology, Exercise Physiology, or related field required.
  • Expertise in teaching human physiology. A secondary expertise in exercise physiology, human anatomy, or related areas would be helpful.
  • Experience teaching, supervising, and preparing physiology laboratories required. Experience in exercise physiology or anatomy laboratories would be helpful.
  • Evidence of successful college/university level teaching experience and work in the field preferred.
  • Student oriented and collegial.
